In March 2024 Simon travelled to the UK for his first readings there since 1995. Following a short set in Manchester, Simon performed his first ever full-length solo show at Kelham Island Books and Music in his home town of Sheffield. He read selections from his novel “The Bastardizer Polishes a Turd” and sang a couple of songs.
